NoVA Data Center Academy and Microsoft have teamed up to train and certify over 500 participants on Microsoft Azure tools. The Innovation Challenge is designed to help groups who are underrepresented in the tech industry retool and advance. Participants develop and validate the skills required to tackle complex enterprise business issues and Azure AI. In order to open doors to sought after professional opportunities, Microsoft will also showcase what these technologies can do and what they can bring to organizations. In 2024, the program will have two phases.

NoVA DATACENTER ACADEMY
Located in the Leesburg Historic District, the NoVA Datacenter Academy will begin welcoming students in early 2022. As an official CompTIA educational partner, the NoVA Datacenter Academy, equipped with a state-of-the-art data center lab, will offer training classes and the ability to obtain certifications in: IT Fundamentals+, A+, Network+, Security+, and Cloud+. To alleviate the barriers that impede participation for working parents, we will offer onsite STEM-based enrichment classes for children in grades K-5.​
